Full Disclosure

Franklin FOTO — June 2026

 My installation was created for Portland State University’s Advanced Photography Studio course and exhibited as part of the group exhibition Full Disclosure at Franklin FOTO throughout June 2026.

 The installation brings together self-portraiture, personal writing, music photography, and my book, Generation Behind: Cancerslug. A large central self-portrait is surrounded by masked figures, rusty found objects from deep within the forest, damaged pages full of repeated phrases, 90's Penthouse magazines, iPod & headphones, and a self-portrait full of bullet holes, creating a space that feels part shrine, part archive, and part crime scene.

 The work explores identity, masculinity, masking, criticism, and the ways people construct versions of themselves in order to survive. Generation Behind sits within that same history, representing music and photography as places where anger, alienation, and creative obsession could be transformed into something lasting and meaningful.

 Full Disclosure is about refusing to make myself smaller. It is a record of criticism, performance, endurance, and the things I have created from what was meant to destroy me.
